Pipeline Cleaning Pigs
Pipeline cleaning pigs are one of the most cost-effective and simple tools for optimizing flow, reducing corrosion and minimizing contamination in products, thus lowering overall pigging costs and reducing safety risks.
Cleaning pigs are available with a range of cleaning components, such as brushes, urethane blades, scraper discs and cups to remove all types of debris and deposits. Cleaning pigs can also house transmitters inside their body cavities, and a magnetic cleaning option removes ferrous debris from pipelines.
Drinkwater Products offers the following cleaning pigs:
K-DISC – The k-disc is a patented single-piece, bi-directional scraping pig. The k-disc is unmatched for paraffin scraping ability.
4 Disc 2 Brush Configuration - The 4 disc 2 brush configuration is a cleaning pig that is typically used for the removal of paraffin, black powder, bacteria and other unwanted debris. Pigs can be modified to meet specific job requirements.
Pig Train – A pig train employs the pig link concept which allows various configurations and adaptations of cups, discs, and body links. The flexibility of the polyurethane body link allows the pig to pass bend radius as small as one diameter even when attached to additional link sections.

Pig Train
Pig Trains are designed primarily for aggressive cleaning before an ILI run. The extra length and weight give it added cleaning capabilities ensuring that your smart pig run will be successful. Pig trains are also useful when tight radius bends are present but aggressive cleaning options are required.
